The Ring of Scribes is a Provo, Utah based rock band with a taste for the unusual. The group first formed in October 2005 when brothers Alex and Matt Morrise collaborated to produce the compilation "Revival," a collection of material the two had written separately over several years. After completing "Revival" in January 2006, the group began work on a two hour song-cycle based on the Harry Potter book series, which was eventually titled "Magic!" (or "Magic! a wrock opera" by its fans).
