There are several bands called Garlands 1) Garlands is a gothic band from Czech republic Our roots are in the legacy of old gothic, cold wave and postpunk bands such as Siouxsie & The Banchees, Cocteau Twins, Joy Division, Fields Of The Nephilim, Christian Death, Sisters of Mercy, Killing Joke, X-mal Deutschland, Swans, Corpus Delicti etc. We like punk - Misfits, The Clash, Wire, Pixies etc. History: The band was founded in December ´94 in the town Frydlant nad Ostravici, Czech Republic. In that time we carried the name „THE SQUARE“.
