LowPunch was formed in the spring of 1997. At first it was a group of people creating all sorts of noises in the basement. Then finally things calmed down and LowPunch started to exist in the line-up that has not been changed since: two brothers, Ivo and Radovan Lozej on bass guitar and electric guitar, David Stibilj on drum section and Dean Gnezda, vocals.
The purpose has always been to create loud and fast music. Soon there was enough material to start performing live.
