Nacido un 15 de mayo en el Chaco Santafecino, Horacio Guarany vivió su primeros años. En 1974 López Rega y los militares que lo acompañaban lo obligaron a exiliarse a México. Sin embargo en 1978, regreso aun sabiendo que la represión continuaría, teniendo que resistir bombardeos y estar en la lista negra por solo cantar sus canciones.
