Investigations in the tricky art of writing music Copenhagen / Chicago (2009 – present) CLEEMANN is a Danish indie one-man-project centered around singer, multi-instrumentalist and musical director Gunnar Cleemann (born 1971). With a forward yet slower motion, a distinguished aspect of his music is the vocal being a primary instrument. Also proficient with guitar, keys, piano and bass, his unique sound-scape – subtle acoustic textures and analogue beats and loops – is born out of a passion for vintage instruments and studio equipment.
