Although we had been playing since 1995, Hal9000 actually was born in 1998. Then we start to write our own music following our influences and thinking in the recording of an album. In 1999 we could record, with our home's computer, our first demo with 7 songs. We kept writting songs until 2001, when we already had 19 songs and we recorded them in another demo, thanks to 964studios. From that, we selected 10 songs and composed 2 more to our first album "A New Hope".
