The Bailam Orchestra was born in 1988 and it ‘ll propose a rigorous acoustic program to go to the klezmer music, the balcan’s odd temple, the greek-turkish music, the arab one and it mixed and composed all the ingredients in a dynamic concert to pick up and enjoy like the mediterranean little orchestra. It records “Mamma li turchi” ('92 SudNord), “Bailamme” ('01 World Music), “Non occidentalizzarti” (’06 Felmay).
It is playing in different theatral performances (Butterfly Bazar and Moka Cabaret for the Teatro della Tosse in Genova, Il mare negli occhi for Chanceeventi, it worked with Cavalli Marci, and it partecipated in the film Tandem with Bizzarri and Kessisoglu...) and in a lot of klezmer music reviews in Italy and in Europe (France, Germany, Spain...).

From 2005 it is rappresented the cultural promotion of Genoa in a lot of countries in the World ( Russian, Crimea, Turkey …). In 2007 with the singer Roberta Alloisio produce the cd “Lengua Serpentina “ ( CNIndie ) an interesting pursuit of popular song in Genoa’s dialect; this collaboration is meeting with outstanding success.
