Johnny first started playing guitar in school and soon after formed a trio guitar group called ‘Rain’ which consisted of three electric guitars no effects, or anything else for that matter, (they basically played sketchy Beatles covers).
After a while they found someone with better gear and moved more towards rock and called themselves ‘The Rock Band’ as Johnny says “we were so ahead of our time”, they basically did Guns n Roses covers. Johnny always liked playing acoustic guitar that is how most people start’ and he has always been a fan of the unplugged sound.
