Lena Nordin was engaged at the Royal Opera of Stockholm after a successful debut in Verdi's Luisa Miller. Among the many roles she has sung there. Miss Nordin has been a regular guest at the Royal Opera in Copenhagen; as Donna Elvira, Violetta, the Countess and Konstanze. She has also sung in the festivals at Savonlinna (Marguerite), in Miscolz, Hungary (Norma), and Wexford (Aspasia in Mozart's Mitridate and in Mercadante's Elisa e Claudio). Lena Nordin was appointed "Royal Court Singer" by H.M.
