Enerjetics was a two-piece (guitar and drums) early hardcore punk band from New Jersey. Consisting of cousins (their fathers were brothers) Dean Jones, guitar, and Dave Jones, drums and vocals, Enerjetics were active from late 1979 - late 1980. They were the opening band for six sold-out NY-area shows by the Plasmatics in the summer of 1980. Two period recordings are known to exist; an unreleased studio 7" EP, Killer Dobermans, recorded 5/5/80 (a test pressing landed them the Plasmatics gig), and a live soundboard recording of a reunion gig at The Showplace, Dover NJ, circa 1981.
