Barry Ingle is a pianist and signer-songwriter,in the acoustic/folk-rock/indie tradition. Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, Ingle lived and recorded in Seattle, Washington, before relocating to Austin, Texas, which he now calls home. His music has been variously described as "haunting and elegant," with lyrics "rich and thought provoking." His most recent release, the full-length album, "way the other way," features Ingle on piano but adds occasional horns and electronic soundscapes.
