One 2wenty One is comprised of two individuals whose stories are anything but typical. Cajuan Wright and Terrell Lamont met each other in the spring of ’98 while cutting class in high school to hone their musical skills. What started with a few chords on the piano, God transformed into a full-fledged production team, group and life-long friendship. Terrell draws his hip-hop musical influences from The Roots, Talib Kweli, Common, Lupe Fiasco, Jay-Z and many others. He also prides himself in making music that doesn’t sound like the typical cookie-cutter tracks you hear on mainstream radio.
