Sérgio Santos Mendes (born Niterói, 11 February 1941) is a Brazilian musician.
For most of the second half of the '60s, Sergio Mendes was the top-selling Brazilian artist in the United States.
Timeless, his first album of newly recorded material in eight years, was released February 14, 2006 by Concord Records. It features a wide array of neo-soul and alternative hip hop guest artists, most prominently will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas.
The first track, "Mais Que Nada", was featured on commercials of Joga Bonito/Nike Football and 2006 FIFA World Cup video game.
