The Airmen Of Note
The Airmen of Note are the United States Air Force Band, the big-band legacy from Major Glenn Miller, who first established the band over 60 years ago. They serve as "America's International Music Ambassadors", traveling the world over each year to do concerts for military and civilians alike. They also tour periodically within the USA, and have recorded various albums highlighting both jazz standards, especially from the big-band era, as well as arrangements of recent and contemporary jazz.
