(The) Midnight Scraper are a band from Sala, Sweden. The band started as a six piece band in 2001 but after a festival gig in 2003 the band was reduced to five members. The piano player decided to waste his life studying. After that day the wheels started rolling even faster and the band dug deeper into the old chest of Delta blues and rolling mb-groove. The great mix of influences from blues, rock n' roll and soulmusic has resulted in a sound similar to what could be heard in the late 60's and early 70's from such bands as The Faces, Ike&Tina Turner, The Rolling Stones etc.
