Both Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are American singers, signed as separate artists to Hollywood Records, alongside artists like Miley Cyrus. They are also signed to UK label Fascination and Japanese label Avex Trax, Lovato as a solo artist and Gomez as both part of her band, Selena Gomez & the Scene and a solo artist. Each cite Paramore as one of their biggest influences. Both of them were born in Texas in 1992, Lovato in Dallas on 20th August, Gomez in Grand Prairie on July 22nd. Both Lovato & Gomez are of Mexican and Italian descent, with Lovato also being of Irish descent.
