DJ Misha's earliest musical memories are of playing with his dad’s vinyl records and reel-to-reel tapes: Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Bee Gees. All of these groups were innovators in their own right, generating new kinds of music that were not restricted by the previous boundaries of rock ’n roll, pop, or disco. It was their experimentation with electronic sound, and with a song’s capacity to take its listener on an emotional journey, that catalyzed DJ Misha’s continued interest in the creative and transformative power of dance music.
