Taeyang is a famous singer in Korea. He was known for his stage name Taeyang (태양, 太阳, solar) or Sol, both meaning "Sun". He is the lead singer of the band Big Bang of YG Entertainment company. After appearing in the musical "A-yo" of Jinusean, Taeyang started participating in the training exercise under the YG Entertainment company - when he was only 12 years old - along with classmates and also the leader Kwon Ji-yong, ie singer G-Dragon.
