There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Stymie was a grunge band from Seattle. 2) Stymie is a Texas based punk pop band. Biographies are listed below: 1) The band started as a regular five piece band in Feb. 1992. They played a handful of shows opening for the likes of Flop and an early incarnation of the Presidents of the United States of America called Go. They recorded a demo and were featured on a 7" comp. called Things That Are Heavy.
