15 Will Get You 20 Lyrics

15 will get ya 20
Don't think it can't happen to you
15 will get ya 20
Don't think it can't happen to you
18 fresh out of school
Doin' the right thing playing by the rules
But one day she caught his eye
36 - 24 with a skirt size 5
He stepped to her and asked her name
Not even thinking to ask her age
She's so fine she had to be grown
Had he knew then what he knows now
She was only 16
With the body of a 20 year old beauty queen
Man, oh, man, how could this be
So please fly but only 16
15 will get ya 20
16 will get you 10

Don't think it can't happen to you
'Cause it happened to one of my friends
15 will get ya 20
16 will get you 10
Don't think it can't happen to you
'Cause it happened to one of my friends
Let me tell you about my friend Gene
1997 homecoming queen
Working hard on her degree
But one hot day she was out at the Greek
And there he was, about 5 foot 9
Chocolate and cocoa in the middle of July
So fine, he had tha lips of a vintage wine
If she knew then what she knows now
He was only 16
With the body of a God and the face of the king
Man, oh, man, how could this be
So 25 but only 16
15 will get ya 20
16 will get you 10
Don't think it can't happen to you
'Cause it happened to one of my friends
15 will get ya 20
16 will get you 10
Don't think it can't happen to you
This is the Gettotel, I'm on stage with my gazelles
I spotting her through the lens, a young Cinderel
You know the kinda girl that starts street wars with C-4s and 4-4s
I met her on tour, she said, "Can I take a draw of your spit"
I said, "Cool by the way I got a suite up at the palace"
Enough kinda bisque but the chick ain't mentioned
Now I'm in prison, feelin' like Anthony Maison
15 will get ya 20
16 will get you 10
Don't think it can't happen to you
'Cause it happened to one of my friends

City High is an American R&B/hip hop trio consisting of rappers/singers Ryan Toby, Robbie Pardlo and Claudette Ortiz. Originally signed to Wyclef Jean's Booga Basement imprint as a duo, the group became a trio when Jean realized that they resembled another group on his roster, The Product G&B, too much. Ortiz was then added to the group after contributing her vocals to the group's first big hit, What Would You Do from the Life soundtrack in 1999.
