Sedativ

1) Sedativ was a duo formed by Roman Sidorov (mastermind of the somewhat cult Russian projects Старуха Мха, Der Golem, Fatal) and his wife Alya.
The music of Sedativ falls within the drone / post-rock spectrum: mid-tempo guitar, atmospheric, melancholic, sparse and hypnotic sound. Roman himself described his music as "psychedelic suicidal post-punk".
The only Sedativ album (10 untitled tracks) was written and recorded sometime in 2002-03 and reportedly the only copy was discovered in the wake of Roman's suicide on September 23, 2003.
