There are four bands named Featherweight: 1) Featherweight is a punk/post hardcore/screamo band from Fort Lauderdale FL, in the vein of Knapsack, Small Brown Bike, and Jawbreaker. 2) Boston, MA (2009 - 2011).
Featherweight was a D.I.Y. emotive hardcore band formed in July 2009 and broke up in October 2011. Members went on to play with bands such as Cerce, Hospice, Callow, among others. Anti-war, anti-violence, anti-sexist, anti-fascist, anti-racist, anti-homophobic, straight edge, ALWAYS D.I.Y. emotive hardcore.
