Abraham, Martin And John Lyrics

Has anybody here seen my old friend Abraham,
Can you tell me where he's gone?
He freed a lotta people, but it seems the good die young
But I just looked around and he's gone.
Has anybody here seen my old friend John,
Can you tell me where he's gone?
He freed a lotta people, but it seems the good die young
But I just looked around and he's gone.
Has anybody here seen my old friend Martin,
Can you tell me where he's gone?
He freed a lotta people, but it seems the good die young
But I just looked around and he's gone.
Didn't you love the things they stood for?
Didn't they try to find some good for you and me?
And we'll be free,
Someday soon it's gonna be one day.
Has anybody here seen my old friend Bobby,

Can you tell me where he's gone?
I thought I saw him walkin' up over the hill
With Abraham, Martin and John.

Tom Clay (20 August 1929, New York, New York — 22 November 1995, Los Angeles, California) (born Thomas Clague) was an American radio personality and disc jockey. In the 1950s he was popular in the Detroit area on WJBK-AM both as a DJ, and for his on-air comic characterizations; he became a local celebrity. In the mid 50's Tom moved to Cincinnati and was a smash hit. He was considered by many the best DJ in town and had a huge following on WSAI's night show. He used music and records to build a radio "image", and signed off with a signature "That's All".
