Além Acima - As Mercenárias

As Mercenárias is an all-female São Paulo's outfit from the 80's. They were made up of Rosália Munhoz on vocals, Sandra Coutinho on bass and vocals, Ana on guitars and Lou on Drums. This punk/funk band existed from 1982 - 1988. Their music is similar to that of The Slits, Gang of Four, ESG etc. Short and sharp tracks, vocals in Portuguese.
