Almost Had It All Lyrics

And you'll cry
And you'll cry, baby
And you'll cry
And you'll cry... Mmm...
Dark clouds in the distance
The wind has such persistance
You can feel the teardrops from the sky
Oh, god not today, make it go away
Is there some way it can pass 'em by?
I hate to admit, but I know it's true
It's gonna be a long time before I'm over you
You didn't take it easy when you let me down
You didn't let me find a place to fall
But you'll be sorry, baby, when I'm not around
You will see you almost had it all
Again, I read your letter, my heart is beating faster
It's as if I didn't know the truth
Instead, you might reflect, but we should just forget it

Yeah, didn't I tell you there was someone new?
It's so hard to believe it, but I know it's true
It's gonna be a long time before I'm over you,
But I know someday you're gonna feel it
You didn't take it easy when you let me down
You didn't let me find a place to fall
But you'll be sorry, baby, when I'm not around
You will see you almost had it all
And you'll cry (Cry)
And you'll cry, baby (Cry)
And you'll cry, yeah (Cry)
And you'll weep for me (Weep... Ooh...), but I'll be gone
I'll be gone... Ooh... Ooh...
You didn't take it easy... No, no...
Didn't take it easy... (Ooh) Ooh...
You didn't take it easy when you let me down
You didn't let me find a place to fall
But you'll be sorry, baby, when I'm not around
You will see you almost had it all,
You almost had it, you almost had it all...
You didn't take it easy when you let me down
You didn't let me find a place to fall
But you'll be sorry, baby, when I'm not around
You will see you almost had it all
You didn't take it easy when you let me down
You didn't let me find a place to fall
But you'll be sorry, baby, when I'm not around
You will see you almost had it all

Founded in 2002, the UCLA ScatterTones have been blowing away audiences wherever they go. The group performs covers of pop/rock with one unique twist - no instruments. And yet people still can't believe what they hear, with rocking soloists, vocal percussion that rivals drum machines, and intricate arrangements. From Berkeley to San Diego, the group has opened for professional groups m-pact and Sixth Wave, competed in the International Championship of College A Cappella, and has been an audience favorite at UCLA's oldest musical tradition, Spring Sing.
