Altar of Sacrifice Lyrics

Waiting the hour destined to die
Here on the table of Hell
A figure in white unknown by man
Approaching the altar of deathHigh Priest awaiting dagger in hand
Spilling the pure virgin blood
Satans slaughter, ceremonial death
Answer his every commandDeath will come easy just close your eyes
Dream of the friends you'll see
Heavenly failure losing again
Move on to a new form of lifeAltar of sacrifice, curse of the damned
Confronting the evil you dread
Coalesce into one your shadow and soul
Soon you will meet the undeadAltar of sacrifice, curse of the damned
Confronting the evil you dread
Coalesce into one your shadow and soul
Soon you will meet the undead
Enter to the realm of SatanBlood turning black, the change has begun
Feeling the hatred of all damned in Hell

Flesh starts to burn, twist and deformEyes dripping blood realization of death
Transforming of five toes to two
Learn the sacred words of praise, hail SatanA gift of powers disposed upon you
Use them when you feel the need
Master the forces and powers of Satan
Controlling the creatures instinctDrawn to the castles that float in the sky
Learn to resist the temptation
Watching the Angels sift through the Heavens
Endlessly searching for salvation

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

Stumbled into the Christian Rock seen in a band called Lazarus back in 1983(I think, so long ago I can't remember) We did some regional stuff and recorded a cassette demo called "Breaking into the Night". This opened a lot of doors for me and my writing began to flow in a direction of outreach to the metal crowd. After Lazarus, I went into hiding for several years and was writing a lot. Having a number of tunes and wanting to record them I hooked up with my good friend, Dave Kurtz of Lifeline. I met Dave thru Jeff Newman, my good friend who drummed for Lazarus.
