Ensemble Planeta is a Japanese choral group, consisting of 4 female members. They specialize in singing well-known classical pieces and traditional European folk songs. The group is produced by Nahoko Kakiage (書上奈朋子), who is both a solo singer and the keyboardist/engineer of the now inactive The Eccentric Opera. Ensemble Planeta has released 7 full-length albums to date on the Pony Canyon label. Present members are Misako Ito, Kazuyo Kitadume, Hanae Tomaru, and Yoshiko Ikeshiro.
