Angel Lyrics

Angel - Mass ProductionA love that heated by your fire
And whom it touch, it's my desire
To seek into that burning plane
And turn around and do it again (again)
Do it again YeahYou satisfy the need in me
You set the man inside me free
I need to have you by my side
Won't you come and love me
For a while (For a while)
For a while Baby, heyAngel (angel)
Come and fly with me
Come on and fly with me yeah
Angel (angel)
Just fly me through the galaxyAngel spread your wings and fly yeah
Take me way up in the sky
You carry me right through the clouds
You showed me what it's all about
We soar along just me and you

And won't come down until we're through
Angel baby (Angel baby)Let's not wait
So, come on little girl
Get away (way yeah)
Girl just understand me
You know how good it can be
Angel baby
Angel baby
I know that we can find
(I know that we can find)
Our own space in time
(Our own space in time)
Just take my hand love
And carry me away
AwayAngel (Angel)
Angel (Angel)
Girl just understand me
You know how it can be
AngelWant a guided tour of the galaxy
Where there's no one but you and me
Angel (Angel)
Angel (Angel)
Girl just understand me
You know how it can be
AngelWhy don't you spread your wings
Why don't you spread your wings
Why don't you spread your wings
AngelTake me away
Take me away
Girl just understand me
You know how it can be
Take me away

Based in Norfolk, Virginia, the ten-piece soul and disco group Mass Production had a series of super funky R&B hits in the late 70s and early 80s. Mass Production consisted of LeCoy Bryant, Kevin Douglas, James Drumgole, Agnes "Tiny" Kelly, Larry Marshall, Gregory McCoy, Rodney Phelps, Ricardo Williams, Samuel Williams, and Tyrone Williams. Their best-known song, "Firecracker", hit number four on the R&B charts in the late summer of 1979 and continues to be loved across dance clubs. The group stayed together for several more years, scoring a string of awesome hits, before deciding to disband in 1983. Read more on Last.fm.
