Another Heartache Lyrics

I guess I should have held you longer then I did.
Then I could of been the girl you chose to spend the rest of your life with.
Well, I could of came home instead of chasing my dreamsIt was never about the money baby, I wanted you to be proud of me
When you tried to sweep me off my feet, I ran because I didn't understand why me
When I tried to run back to you, you had found somebody new, OhWell I guess I'm always to late, but just in time for, for another heartache, yeah.
but whenever I'm early you see, loves never ready, but another heartaches waiting on me.I guess I should of kissed you in front of everyone that day.
That could of been the moment you changed your mind and decided to stay, baby,
Well I guess I could of learned to follow your lead.
That wouldn't make much sense, you never believed in me.When I tried to give you all of me, you looked at me and said there's no need for trying,
I guess I should get over you, you said that's probably what you need to do, 0h.Well I guess I'm always to late, but just in time for for another heartache, yes.
but whenever I'm early you see, loves never ready, but another heartaches waiting on
Love is aunavailable when I'm knocking at his door, Shows up unannounced when I'm healing from hurt before, Oh It's beautiful along the way, in the beginning you was so kind
It was never love at all it was heartache in disguise, oh, oh, oh oh.Well I guess I'm always to late, but just in time for another heartache, oh.
but whenever I'm early you see, loves never ready, but another heartaches waiting on me.

Algebra Blesset (Algebra Felicia Blesset, born in 1976 in Atlanta, Georgia) is a contemporary R&B singer.

Blessett's mother was a gospel singer and bass player, and she grew up to the sounds of soul music, gospel and R&B. Like many R&B singers, she sang in a gospel choir when she was in school. As an original detail, however, she has added in interviews that this was not so much out of passion, but rather because she was not good at sports anyway, and wanted to stay after school with her friends.

Blessett started doing background vocals, among others for R&B artists Monica and Bilal. This earned her a contract with Rowdy Records in Atlanta. She has toured with Anthony Hamilton, and collaborated with India.Arie. At a later age she learned to play the guitar, and started to do her own gigs in the Atlanta club scene. She writes her own songs.

Blessett released her first single "U Do It For Me" on the Kedar Entertainment label in 2006. She released her first album titled Purpose in 2008. The new single was called "Run and Hide", and is about men's shifty intentions. Her music can be labeled contemporary R&B, neo-soul or underground soul. It has some jazz, gospel, and even rock influences. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
