Any Old Miracle Lyrics

It's late, and I sure do hate to bother you
But I know you're the only one
Who knows what I've been goin' throughIt's her, keepin' me up all night again
And Lord I just had to call on you
To ask a favor of a friendAny ol' miracle that you could send me down
Don't go to too much trouble Lord
What ever you might have aroun'
'Cause I'm never gettin' over her
Without some help from you
I'm gonna need a miracle
Any ol' miracle will do
Oh Lord, I know so many others stand and need
You've got troubles to attend to
And you've got hungry mouths to feedBut, listen to me Lord
I don't mean to take too much of your time
Please find me one small miracle
To heal this heart of mine
Any ol' miracle that you could send me down

Don't go to too much trouble Lord
What ever you might have aroun'
'Cause I'm never gettin' over her
Without some help from you
I'm gonna need a miracle
Any ol' miracle will do

Vern Gosdin (August 5, 1934 – April 28, 2009) was a traditional country singer with a strong country voice. Some of his best material were not #1 hits.
As country music swung back toward traditional styles in the 1980s, an inheritor of the soulful honky tonk style of Lefty Frizzell and Merle Haggard rose to the top of the business and notched hit after barroom hit. Sometimes he was known simply as "the Voice." Born in Woodland, AL, Vern Gosdin idolized the Louvin Brothers and the Blue Sky Boys as a young man and sang in a gospel quartet called the Gosdin Brothers.
