Aquecimento Favela - DJ Sandrinho

DJ Sandrinho (real name Sandro Dos Santos Lourenco), originating from the favela do Borel en Rio, started his musical career at the age of 12, following his older brother’s footsteps, DJ Sapo Pemba in the sound systems of Rio.
He started deejaying regularly and playing in the community radio stations of Rio’s favelas (Borel and Prazeres).
In 1999 he got selected among 50 winners of a contest to be resident dj of FURACAO 2000 (famous sound system and Carioca Funk label).
From then on he played 3 timesa week in different clubs and favelas of Rio.
