Arizona Lyrics

Those pictures that I saved of you
Are lyin on the side of 202
Well I don’t want to see them anymore
And that locket that you gave to me
Is hangin of a Joshua tree
It took up too much space here on the floor
I’m leavin all the things you did
The I love yous and never said
Looking back I wont have much to miss
Like all those empty promises
And all those lies that you left me
That left this bitter taste on my lips
I’m leavin it all, back in Arizona
Watching you letters taking flight
Across the painted desert sky
I know you didn’t mean them anyway
And that ring I wore on my left hand
Is somewhere buried in the sand

It will be somebody’s treasure there some day
I’m leavin all the things you did
The I love yous and never said
Looking back I wont have much to miss
Like all those empty promises
And all those lies that you left me
That left this bitter taste here on my lips
I’m leavin it all, back in Arizona
I’m heading east and drivin faster
On my way to greener pastures
I’m leavin all the things you did
The I love yous and never said
Looking back I wont have much to miss
Like all those empty promises
And all those lies that you left me
That left this bitter taste here on my lips
I’m leavin it all, back in Arizona
I’m heading east and drivin faster
On my way to greener pastures
