As Good As It Gets Lyrics

I'd dream of glory days
and wonder
if dreams were as good
as gold
I would imagine Eden
underneath the heaven's
glow
wake up
turn on the lights
this is tomorrow
been such a long night
I've seen the future
it never looked like this
where is the rapture
where is the bliss
[chorus]
is this as good as it gets
great expectations

put them all to rest
tell me
it this as good as it gets
I've been waiting so long
is this as good as it gets
I dreamed about
a place of wonder
streets were paved
with gold
I would imagine
we were
travelling down
that dusty road
wake up
turn on the lights
this is tomorrow
been such a long night
I've seen the future
never looked like this
tell me where is the rapture
where is the bliss
repeat chorus
I still wait
for the earth to move
for some rattle and roll
so much for your
promised land
where did the promise go
and you can dream
and you can wonder
it's just the way it goes
and you can imagine Eden
but the garden's made
of stone
wake up
turn on the lights
this is tomorrow
it's been such a long night
I've seen the future
but it never looked like this
tell me where is the rapture
where is the blis
repeat chorus twice
good as it
good as it
good as it gets
good as it
good as it
good as it gets
