In Trouble Again Lyrics

forty days and forty nights
reparation will cleanse the soul
'til the next time you walk into the fire
with your eyes closed
so many lessons learned
yet you still fail to make the grade
he says trust in me and I'll protect you
you forget all the vows you made
for all of the sins
you'd said you'd forsake
you're making the same mistake
[bridge]
when the thrill is gone
and the lights are on
it's just you
and a voice inside you
saying
[chorus]

I think I'm in trouble again
and I know it's too late to pray
I think I'm in trouble again
and I think I'm going to need some help
forty days and forty nights
reparation has left you cold
looks like this time
it won't be as easy
to save your sould
so many bridges burned
so many sad mistakes
you will find
for piece of mind
there's one hell of a price to pay
for all of the sins
you said you'd forsake
you're leaving it all to fate
repeat bridge
repeat chorus
forty days and forty nights
reparation will cleanse the soul
'til the next time you walk into the fire
with your eyes closed
I think I'm in trouble again
repeat chorus

There are at least two artists known as Luba - a Canadian and a Russian. Luba (born Luba Kowalchyk, 1958 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. Growing up, she studied voice, guitar, flute, and piano; she later travelled across Canada to perform traditional Ukrainian folk songs at weddings and social gatherings. In 1979 she formed the band Luba with drummer Peter Marunzak, guitarist Mark Lyman, bassist Mike Zwonok, guitarist John Nestorowich, and keyboardist Doug Short.
