Ascension Lyrics

It happened the moment
When you were revealed
'Cause you were a dream
That should not have been a fantasy, real
You gave me this beating baby
This rhythm inside high
You made me feel good and feel nice 'nd feel lovely
Gave me paradise, so
Shouldn't I realize?
You're the highest of the high
And if you don't know then I'll say it
So don't ever wonder
Don't ever wonder
Shouldn't I realize?
You're the highest of the high
And if you don't know then I'll say it
So don't ever wonder
So tell me how long

How long it's gonna take until you speak baby?
'Cause I can't live my life
Without you here by my side
You gave me the feelin', feelin'
In my life so
Shouldn't I realize?
You're the highest of the high
And if you don't know then I'll say it
So don't ever wonder
Don't ever wonder
Shouldn't I realize?
You're the highest of the high
And if you don't know then I'll say it
So don't ever wonder
Don't ever wonder
Shouldn't I realize?
You're the highest of the high
And if you don't know then I'll say it
So don't ever wonder
Don't ever wonder
Don't ever wonder, don't ever wonder
Don't ever wonder, never question baby
Don't ever wonder, is that you [Inaudible]?
Don't ever wonder, don't ever wonder
Can't you see?, don't ever wonder
Can't you see?, don't ever wonder

From the Ever so Clever 'Some Pop',through some fine singles to 'The Reds and The Blues' Mantaray plugged away in the Britpop/ New Mod catchement ,like all the others they slipped away after a small Tour with The Bluetones late in their Britpop Crusade !! Mantaray always seemed somewhat on the outside of the then current Britpop scene so much better than the likes of These Animal Men and Thurman, but never really put on the same shelf as Blur( for which I will never understand ), there were without a doubt strong refs in the sound to the late 60's...
