At Sea Lyrics

I Think there will be rain tonight
It's up there in the clouds that are forming
We must secours the rigging now
Before nightfalls the waves will be turningDid you feel the wind pick up ?
Without the sails we're safer 'til the morning
I wish there were another shipIt's lonely now the rain has started falling
I miss the friends we knew back home
I'm thinking of them now the storm is risingAt sea there's always tomorrow
There are ways to be free
We'll work it out
We'll work it out

A pastiche of post-rock, chamber-pop and contemporary classical composition, San Fermin (pronounced SAN fur-MEEN) is the work of Brooklyn composer and songwriter Ellis Ludwig-Leone. His self-titled debut album is strongly influenced by his unique background in classical music, which includes a job assisting composer/arranger Nico Muhly. After finishing his musical studies at Yale, Ludwig-Leone wrote the album in six weeks while holed up in a studio on the mountainous border between Alberta and British Columbia.
