Egoism first started as a one man band, founded by Jacopo Beraldo during 2003. He started composing songs following the stile of the earlier Death (Leprosy, Human), taking care of all the instruments, drum machine and vocals. After a few years, Jacopo met Mario and Stefano, respectively the bass player and the other guitar player, thanks to a common friend, Andrea Petucco of Death Heaven. After putting apart the very first stuff composed by Jacopo, they started to compose together, using again programmed drum machines to replace the drummer work.
