Formed in 2009 by Casian Stanciu (guitar), Flavius Retea (drums) and Mihai Guta (bass) in Timisoara, Romania. In September 2010 they released their first album Explosions Of The Sun. Alex Wehry (guitar) has joined the band in October 2010 and together the band has recorded their second album, Enter The Void, in August 2011 and was released a year later. Methadone Skies combine progressive rock, psychedelic, shoegaze, pop, doom and many other styles to create a unique sound.
