Away Lyrics

Away
Away
Away
Listen
[VERSE 1 - Sisqo]We started out together on a love journey
We said we would be together to the very end
Ain't nobody ever made love like we did (Oh Yea)
I must admit we had something special
Almost perfect some things we couldn't let go
You did yo dirt, girl
I did mine too
Now you want me gone away (so)
[BRIDGE]So easy making mistakes
All broken down, beyond repair (uhh)
With being selfish
It had our selveless
Now it's better that we go away
[CHORUS - Dru Hill]Away

Never thought that we would be apart (Away)
And even with broken hearts
How did we let our love get away
How could I love give (Away)
What ever happen to your yesterday(Away)
Never thought we would let it get away
Our future we had faded
Away, away, away
[VERSE 2 - Sisqo]It's so ugly in the equation
That for each other had changed to us hurting
No more vacation
No more celebrations
Not even anniversaries
Joint accounts closed, moving out slow
No more late night walks after making love
It's just fading out (It's just fading out)
It's just faidng out (woa)
[CHORUS (REPEAT) - Dru Hill][Talking - Nokio]The first time I ever saw you girl
Is the day I really started believing that there were a GOD in heaven (Mmmm)
Why would he take you away (Oh why, why, oh why)
[Repeat 3X]Away
Away
Away
[CHORUS (REPEAT) - Dru Hill]

Dru Hill is an American singing group, most popular during the late 1990s, whose repertoire includes R&B and soul music. Founded in Baltimore, Maryland and active from 1992 to 2005, Dru Hill recorded seven Top 40 hits, and is best known for the R&B #1 hits "In My Bed", "Never Make a Promise", and "How Deep is Your Love". Tamir "Nokio" Ruffin was the group's founder and leader; his bandmates included main lead singer Mark "Sisqó" Andrews, Larry "Jazz" Anthony, and James "Woody" Green. Signing to Island Records through Haqq Islam's University Records imprint, Dru Hill released two successful LPs before separating for a period from late 1999 to 2002, during which time Sisqó and Woody released solo albums. In 2002, by then part of the Def Soul record label, the group reunited and added fifth member Rufus "Scola" Waller to the lineup for their third LP, Dru World Order. Dru Hill recently reformed and plans to release a new album, Indrupendence, which will harbor songs like "Get Loose" and "If You Fall" that can now be heard on www.myspace.com/indrupendence. The new album will not include Woody or Scola, but will include new group member Tao. Tao won a spot in the group after winning a competition by singing a transcendent version of Stevie Wonder's "Lately." Tao's audition can be seen on www.druhillonline.com.
