Awon Lopa - Sina Ayinde Bakare

Sina Ayinde Bakare was born on September 6th, 1945 at the Massey Hospital in Lagos Island. His father was the legendary maestro Ayinde Bakare the originator of Juju music. Other famous juju musicians are King Sunny Ade and Ebenezer Obey.

Sina grew up in the Obalende area of Lagos island surrounded by music. At the age of twelve, Sina picked up an interest in music with his first instrument being the school snares. At the age of fourteen, he picked up the guitar, an instrument he made his own. Read more on Last.fm.
