Babylon Lyrics

Relax your mind
Lord let it take
An electric explosion
And then on a freeway
Just let it take you away, child
Far away
Oh yeah, come over
Come back in my big automobile
And BabylonI'll give you a shove
Why don't you take a rush?
Let me hear you cry
From a deafening hush
Just let it take you away
Far away
I'm on a big auto, I'm on big automobile
BabylonNow the blues ain't nothin'
But a good man feelin' bad
Yeh, yeh, yeah

I know that the blues ain't nothin', ain't nothin' baby
But a, but a good man, but a good man, but a good man feelin' bad
And I just ain't the kind
That goes around feelin' sad, heySay why don't you take a rush?
Let me hear you cry
From a deafening hush
Just let it take you away
Far away
I want big automobile
Big automobile, baby
Babylon

Blue Cheer is an American blues rock group of the late 1960s and early 1970s, who helped to pioneer heavy metal music. Based in San Francisco, original personnel were singer/bassist Dickie Peterson, guitarist Leigh Stephens, and drummer Paul Whaley. A power trio, the band was named after a variety of LSD promoted by underground chemist and Grateful Dead backer Owsley Stanley. This variety of LSD took its name from a popular laundry detergent. Their first hit was a cover version of Eddie Cochran's "Summertime Blues" from their debut album Vincebus Eruptum (1968).
