Back Home Lyrics

When she walks into the room
They look up to see her face
All the glitter falls on her
And the room's her stageDon't you think you've had enough
Do their claws make sores
Take my hand and come away
And I'll take you homeI won't turn around, can't be afraid
Takin' you all the way back home
Innocence gone, can't be the same
Takin' you all the way back home, back homeWill the world still be the same
Even if you're gone
When the pillars start to fade
And the room's just wallsDon't you think you've had enough
Do their claws make sores
Take my hand and come away
And I'll take you homeI won't turn around, can't be afraid
Takin' you all the way back home
Innocence gone, can't be the same

Takin' you all the way, all the way, all the wayDon't you think you've had enough
What's the gun there for
Take my hand and fly away
And I'll take you homeDon't you think you've had enough
What's the gun there for
Take my hand and come away
And I'll take youI won't turn around, can't be afraid
Take you all the way back home
Innocence gone, can't be the same
Take you all the wayI'll take you all the way
I'll take you all the way back
I'll take you all the way
I'll take you all the way backI'll take you all the way
I'll take you all the way
I'll take you all the way
I'll take you all the way home

Cold are from Jacksonville, Florida, USA. With the release of their self-titled debut, "Cold," in 1998, the band quickly became known for its angsty lyrics and the singer's distinctive voice. "Cold" has obvious touches of grunge, but on the following album, "13 Ways to Bleed on Stage," Cold changed towards a more ambivalent, and in some ways, alternative hard rock with slightly calmer, angst inspired songs.
