Back Home Lyrics

Oh darling I miss you but ever since you let me go
I been steppin' out, beatin' down that dusty road
One day I'll be there for you like you've been there all along
I've got your picture here whenever I'm gone
Yeah
So honey turn your lights down low and sit yourself down by the radio
Cause I've got this song to sing to you back home
And I know I'll be coming back one day and now I gotta go
And I'll be on my way, I got this song to sing to you back home
Well I've given everything just to be at where I am
And I know you know that I would do this all over again
These nights out on the road make a boy feel like he's missin'
But I've got this song to keep you warm if you're listenin', yeah now
So honey turn your lights down low and sit yourself down by the radio
Cause I've got this song to sing to you back home
And I know I'll be coming back one day and now I gotta go
And I'll be on my way, I got this song to sing to you back home

When I know there ain't no postman baby, I'll deliver cause you drive me crazy
One day I'll be at your front door
Every letter home, every sleepless night, it was all for this and I know it's right
I could never take this road alone
But tonight
So honey turn your lights down low and sit yourself down by the radio
Cause I've got this song to sing to you back home
And I know I'll be coming back one day and now I gotta go
And I'll be on my way, I got this song to sing to you back home
