La Caina are French artists: Jean Pierre Plisson (writer, producer, programming and guitars), Maxime Plisson (vocals and lyrics), Nicolas Scheid (sax, flute), Marc Darnère (bass) and several well-known French musicians. Together, they produce a typical smooth chill-out sound that is synonymous with Café del Mar. La Caina first collaborated in Café del Mar's 25th Anniversary CD, recording five tracks under several other artist names (Mic Max, Leslie Round, Zednah, Prodoxo and Joke Society).
