Bandwagon Lyrics

Bandwagon, it's coming into town
To turn your life around
And take you to the places that you once
Could only dream of
They'll be standing right there before your eyes
And the heroes that you worship
They'll be riding with you, up there by their side
On the bandwagon, it's rolling into town
Gathering the crowds to show them all the places that they once
Could only dream of and put them right before their very eyes
In the stories that they're selling for some pennies and a little of our time
Well, well do I hear you say, I'm only dreaming
That I'm staring out the window letting all my life just pass me by
In my defence, listen to me I have never ever stopped believing
That there's a better world out there waiting
And that all I have to do is hitch a ride on the Bandwagon
It's coming to my door
I've been on it before

And it took me to the places that I once
Could only dream of they were standing
Right there before my eyes
And I can tell you the stories for
Some pennies and a little of your time
Bandwagon its coming into town
To turn your life around
And take you to the places that you once
Could only dream of
They'll be standing there before your eyes
And the heroes that you worship
They'll be riding with you, up there by their side
On the bandwagon
Here it comes
(Dick/Paton/Boult/Usher/Paterson/Wilkinson)
