Bass-y (Original Recording) - Digital Nightmare

Digital Nightmare are a Industrial-Electro group hailing from St. John's, Newfoundland Canada. Original started as two piece consisting of Denis Murphy and Thomas Martin-Coffin. The group has underwent a massive change in members and style of music. Now Thomas along with friend Petra Chaffey will take DN into a new direction and future.

2004-2005:
In 2004 Digital Nightmare's original member Denis "Wolfman" Murphy and Thomas "Black Star" Coffin start Digital Nightmare. Remixing old Nintendo theme songs and creating original Rock Electro songs using FL Studios DN released their first self-titled album, with songs such as Bio-Dome, D.Y.E.B and Creepy Castle.

2006:
In 2006 Digital Nightmare started to work on their second album Ups and Downs. This album was different sounding they their first self-titled album, it was more up beat and had faster danceable songs, but had a dark tone through out the album. Digital Nightmare work through out 2006 working on this album until it was finished in December. Mean while through out that year Denis had been working on some solo music for his Wolfman Project c.d. At the end of 06 DN finished up Ups and Downs.

2007:
In 07 Digital Nightmare started work on there third and most poppy album called The Additive Dance, this album was completely different from their first two recordings. The album had new featured artist that help produce and remix some of the new DN songs. The album featured artist such as, I.n.f.e.k.t.e.d, MD, Raymond White and Jeremiah Popp. The album had the shortest track listing out of all three albums. In late 2007 Denis and Thomas, stopped communicating with each other due to business with other projects and some personal issues happening at that current time.

2008-Present:
In the middle of 2008 Thomas Martin-Coffin decided to re-vamp the Digital Nightmare idea, but this time changing the musical style and sound. Also there would be a first in DN history the introduction of a live band making and performing songs. Thomas enlisted the help of some close friends of his to help with the new direction he was taking Digital Nightmare in. Petra Chaffey, Trevor Russell and Andrew Bowers where asked to contribute to the new Digital Nightmare. Petra Chaffey has been assigned duties on the keyboard, Trevor Russel will have Percussion duties and DJ Dain not being a set member in the band but asked to help with remixing and sampling. With this new line up Digital Nightmare hopes to have a great future in the music industry. Due to personal problem Trevor Russell, will be away from the band. Digital Nightmare are working hard on their next album. Two new songs are being worked on a track Petra has been working on for a while has made the cut and will be featured on the album. We also like to thank Chris Ryan for agreeing to help with Guitar and Bass on this new album, he's help will make this album the best DN album to date.
