There are at least seven artists with the name Purr: 1) Purr is an independent Japanese rock band that played fantastic music, but seems to have disappeared in December of 2001 after playing a show with other members of the LEE V CLEEF label. 2) Purr is an independent French rock band, but have ceased activity in 2001. They released 2 albums. 'Whales lead to the deep sea' in 1997 and 'Open Transport' in 2000, both on Prohibited records, a very active french underground label in the 90's. more infos here : Prohibited records
