Kevin Gates (born October 24, 1989 in Baton Rouge, Louisana) is an American rapper. Since his release from prison in 2011, Kevin Gates has released a slew of free mixtapes, including the YMCMB-hosted mixtape "Make 'Em Believe." In February of 2013, Kevin Gates signed a record deal with Atlantic.
