Be Careful Lyrics

Have You Ever Had The Feeling You Were Being Watched
Footsteps Behind You Like A Shadow When You Walk
Can't Tell If Your Mind Is Playing Tricks Or Not.
What I'm Going Through Is Now Knocking Brain
Thinking Back, Now Do I Got Any Enemies?
Where I've Been What I Did, What Did I Say
Hey, He, Ei!
Come To Think Of It
I Remember One Chick
That I Was Messing With
When I Was In Connecticut,
I'm Met Her After My Show
I Took Her Back To My Room
The Next Day I Had To Go
I Never Thought It Would…
Chorus:
I Never Thought It Would Get This Deep
Now I Got This Problem Following Me

Better Be Careful, Better Be Careful!
Better Be Careful Whose Heart You Break
Never Knowing What You Do Or Say,
Will Send Them Over The Edge, So
Next Time Ill Be Careful!
Im Getting Letters Every Other Day Addressed To Me,
Saying "Dear Jason - You And I Were Meant To Be"
Tell Me You Feel The Same Or It Will Be The Death Of Me,
It Gets Worst Now!
She Reaching Out To All My People Friends And Family
Got Me So Paranoid I'm Stepping Of Security
Is Getting Crazy Here, It' Difficult For Me To Sleep
Now All I'm Thinking Is
How Do I Get Out Of This
I'm Feeling Kind Of Sick,
Damn This Is Some Crazy Shit
I'm Met Her After My Show
I Took Her Back To My Room
The Next Day I Had To Go
I Never Thought It Would…
Chorus:
I Never Thought It Would Get This Deep
Now I Got This Problem Following Me
Better Be Careful, Better Be Careful!
Better Be Careful Whose Heart You Break
Never Knowing What You Do Or Say,
Will Send Them Over The Edge, So
Next Time Ill Be Careful!
This Got So Out Of Control
I Learned My Lesson I So
Oh, Oh, Oh, Be Careful!
She's Holding On Won't Let Go
She Wants A Piece Of My Soul
Oh, Oh, Oh, Be Careful!
I'm Met Her After My Show
I Took Her Back To My Room
The Next Day I Had To Go
I Never Thought It Would…
Chorus:
I Never Thought It Would Get This Deep
Now I Got This Problem Following Me
Better Be Careful, Better Be Careful!
Better Be Careful Whose Heart You Break
Never Knowing What You Do Or Say,
To Send Them Over The Edge, So
Next Time Ill Be Careful!

John Brim (April 10, 1922 — October 1, 2003) was a Chicago blues guitarist, songwriter and blues harp player. Brim picked up his early guitar licks from the gramophone records of Tampa Red and Big Bill Broonzy, before venturing first to Indianapolis in 1941 and Chicago four years later. He met his wife Grace in 1947; fortuitously, she was a capable drummer and harmonica player who played on several of Brim's records. She was also the vocalist on a 1950 single for the Detroit based Fortune Records, that signaled the beginning of Brim's discography.
