Be Grateful Lyrics

Be grateful (Repeat)
God has not promised me sunshine
That's not the way it's going to be
But a little rain, mixed with God's sun shines a little pain
Makes me apreciate the good times
Be grateful (Be grateful)
Repeat
God desires to feel your longing
Every pain, every pain that you feel
He feels them just like you
But He can't afford to let you feel only good
It's so that you can apreciate the good times
Oohhhh (Be grateful)

You gotta learn to be grateful
If you're grateful today
Why don't you say, Thank ya Lord I'm grateful
For everything you've done
Everything you're gonna do
Oohhhh (Be grateful)
Listen....
Be grateful (Be grateful)
Because there's someone else who's worse off than you
Oohhhh (Be grateful)
Someone else would love to be in your shoes
Be grateful
If you dont believe me
Go out to the hospital and take a look around
You gotta
because He's given you anotha day
To live in his glory
Be grateful (Be grateful)
Because God is good
And He's good all the time
Be grateful (Be grateful)
Because He's always coming thru
Comin thru for me and you
Tell somebody
Be grateful (be grateful)
Be grateful (be grateful)
Be grateful (be grateful)
You might not have everything that you want
But you outta be grateful
